The room was super clean and tidy. The bed was huge and really comfortable, which was a big plus after a long day. Plenty of space for all my stuff, and the TV had loads of channels to choose from. The only downside was the slow drainage in the shower, but the staff were great at fixing other issues quickly.

I loved how cozy the room was, and I really appreciated the residents' lounge where I could unwind after a busy day. Plus, the kitchen was a nice touch, making it easy to grab a snack or two. If I had to pick at something, I’d say the room could’ve used some glasses, but honestly, that didn’t ruin my stay at all! 😊

The staff quickly resolved my radiator issue after I reported it.
I had to stand in a pool of water due to slow drainage in the shower.

The Derby provided a comfortable stay with some nice touches. On arrival, I received a friendly message about the noise from the lively pub below. That was considerate, especially since we were there for a weekend. The room was clean, and the decor felt fresh, which was great. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities made mornings pleasant. A small issue came up on the first night, but management handled it immediately and offered a room change. We appreciated the complimentary prossecco and juice waiting for us in the room—such a nice surprise for my pregnancy. Location-wise, perfect for meeting friends, close to everything we needed. The downside? The sound levels from the pub can be intense, which might not be ideal for families with kids. The NCP car park down the road was convenient and reasonably priced for a night out, too.

A very comfortable bed and a powerful shower made for relaxing nights. The unexpected access to the kitchen was a nice touch, allowing guests to enjoy complimentary hot drinks and cold food. the setup could be improved, as the common areas did not feel fully utilized, and the cleanliness standards were inconsistent across shared spaces.
